Our ceiling diffusers are made by injection molding from ABS non-toxic plastic suitable for hot or cold air (0 to 65 °C / 30 to 140 °F). The attractive diffuser blends in with any white room decor, prevents condensation, has light weight and is scratch and corrosion resistant. Standard color is glossy off-white but other varieties of colors are available. The basic diffuser consists of three sections: the centre core, the frame and the adapter (plenum). The centre core distributes the air in a uniform distribution pattern. Low air discharge angles assure a draft free zone of occupancy. The out flowing air jet mixes rapidly with the room air, thereby equalizing temperature throughout the whole occupied space. The adapter determines the neck diameter and the frame determines face dimensions. Various neck and face dimension combinations are possible. Both neck diameter and face dimension are required for specification of diffuser size. The diffusers can be equipped with contiguously adjustable baffle damper. The baffle damper is subdivided into 3 lobes and Is operated Manually. The diffuser can be closed completely thereby shutting off space not in use. In the open position the baffles are placed one behind the other obstructing only three narrow sectors which are 120° apart. Baffle opening and angular location of the lobes can be set by an easily accessible knob in the centre of the diffuser space. The diffuser fits the standard T-bar 595, 600and 625 mm or plaster ceiling. Our opposed blade dampers are available and recommended for better air flow control.
